Cost
A Brush With Kindness is a hand-up, not a hand-out. The percentage owed is based on the total cost of repair. HFHGML will work with homeowners to create a payment plan that works with the homeowner to pay the amount owed within 2 years. Accommodations can be made with approval from the Board. Sweat Equity is hours worked on-site or within the community. Sweat Equity hours are traditionally completed by the homeowner as they help build or repair, however, HFHGML understands that not everyone can work safely outside of their home. Sweat equity hours can be completed by the homeowner, a family member, or a friend(s).
