“Habitat gives us an opportunity which is very difficult to find: to reach out and work side by side with those who never have had a decent home—but work with them on a completely equal basis.”

-Jimmy Carter

I want to volunteer at the Home Build

That’s awesome that you want to help with a home build because WE ARE BUILDING! In the next few weeks, we will be welcoming community members and businesses to volunteer at the construction site.

Where do I sign up and are there forms?
Click the blue Business or Community Volunteer Sign-up. Yes, every volunteer will need to complete the Volunteer Code of Conduct & Waiver form before being able to help with the home build. Also, you need to watch the Safeguarding Volunteer Orientation video.

What is the difference between community and business days?
Business days are set aside for local businesses and organizations and community days are for community members who want to help.

How old do you have to be to volunteer?
14 years old. 14-17 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youth volunteers will have a limited role in what they can and cannot help with; this is a policy created by Habitat for Humanity International.
